Dear friends of the School District of Mishicot,
Thank you for your continued support of our students and staff. Without your ongoing support, we would not be able to provide the high-quality educational experience
for which Mishicot is known. Given the spread of the new Delta variant of COVID19, Mishicot, like other districts nationwide, has and will face challenges during the
2021-2022 school year. Please know that our staff will continue working diligently to
provide our students the best educational opportunity possible. As your superintendent, I will continue to advocate for systems and practices, which ensure a safe and
high-quality learning environment for all students.
On a positive note, we saw the completion of several facilities upgrades at the middle and high school over the summer. A new STEM room was completed in the middle school, which provides the extra room necessary to allow students the space to work in groups. Additionally, a new LTC satellite classroom was completed in the high school. This new classroom provides our students the opportunity to earn an employable certificate in Information Technology through Lakeshore Technical College. The classroom has a modern look with its fresh paint, computers, and furniture and looks as though it were on the main college campus. We are fortunate to be able to collaborate with institutions of higher learning to the benefit of our students.
Great things continue to happen in our schools. I encourage you to come and see for yourself what wonderful things our students and staff are doing.
Yours in Education,
Paul J. Orlich Ph.D.
Superintendent, High School Principal
