Mishicot Middle School

Students in 7th grade have been listening in class to the story A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park. As part of World Read Aloud day, the students tried to eat one peanut at a time to better understand the harsh conditions the main character, Salva, faced while walking across Sudan and trying to escape the civil war. There were different observations, but the overall consensus was that it would be really hard to just eat a few peanuts a day and walk for miles. Enjoy reading today!
